Here I am enjoying one of my favorite non-work pastimes - sitting in the dirt in the Grand Canyon (photo courtesy Brent Kidder)
This semester (Fall 2013) I'm backup (Recitations, Labs, and CAPA coordinator) for PHYS 2010. The course home page is here.
I'm an Associate Professor Attendant Rank (research faculty) in the Physics Department of the University of Colorado, Boulder. My current research is mostly on the CMS experiment at the LHC at CERN (Geneva, Switzerland), but I also work some on the BaBar experiment at SLAC (where I was employed from 1989 thru 2004) and on proposed electron-positron linear colliders (CLIC, ILC).
